What is the date & time of the wedding?
The evening of September 26, 2026 | Ceremony & Reception timing will be announced soon.
Where is the wedding taking place?
The Headquarters by Wedgewood Weddings in Seaport Village. 789 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is black tie, and we’d love to see everyone dressed to the nines. Tuxedos are encouraged for men, and floor-length gowns are perfect for women. Think timeless, bold, and elegant. Don’t shy away from rich colors, luxe fabrics, or standout details. Show off your personality & a little flair! Dress to impress, but make sure you can still hit the dance floor. ✨
Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?
Please avoid white, ivory, or anything that might be mistaken for bridal. Other than that, feel free to wear rich tones, chic neutrals, or formal florals.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Are kids allowed?
This will be an adults-only evening. We hope you enjoy a fun night out.
If you’ll be traveling to San Diego and need childcare, please reach out & we can give you some great recommendations including sitters who will come to the Manchester Grand Hyatt.

Ceremony & Reception
Are the ceremony & reception at the same location?
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Headquarters.
Are the ceremony & reception indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony & reception are indoors.
What’s the best way to get to the venue?
Utilizing a rideshare service is recommended – after all, this is a party!
Is there parking or valet service?
If you’re driving, there is a paid parking lot with valet service.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We are hosting an unplugged ceremony. Outside of one announced moment where guests will be invited to take a photo, we kindly ask that you silence and put away your phones so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything, and we will share the photos after the big day.
I have dietary restrictions, who should I contact?
Please note any dietary needs on your RSVP. If you have additional concerns, feel free to reach out to us at planning@happilyerlinafter.com.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We’ve waited long enough, party accordingly.

How far are the wedding events from the airport?
Both Downtown San Diego and The Headquarters are about a 10-minute drive from San Diego International Airport (SAN).
What’s the weather like this time of year?
Late September in San Diego is usually sunny with temperatures in the mid-70s.
Are there any hotel room blocks?
We have set up a discounted hotel room block directly outside the entrance to our wedding venue at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. You can learn more & book by checking out our Accommodations Page.

We’re so excited to welcome you to our hometown for a weekend full of love, great food, and sunshine. If you’re looking to explore before or after the big day, here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the city:
